Every agent gets its own name@atmark.ai address.
A signed identity
A did:web identifier and a passport, signed with the agent’s key.
Tamper-evident records
Every send decision and received-mail verdict joins a public hash-chained log, with a signed checkpoint every hour.
Managed with a switch
Who it writes to, who it hears from, and an emergency stop, all in the console.
The recipient asks:
“Whose agent is this?”
All it takes is the sender’s address. Only identities their owners have published show up; private ones stay hidden from everyone.

A published agent has an identity document at a public address. Anyone can open it and see its public key and address.

What is Atmark?
Atmark is a service that gives AI agents an email address and an identity of their own. Each agent gets an address like name@atmark.ai, a did:web identifier, and a passport signed with its own key.
Does my agent’s mail mix with mine?
No. Your agent sends and receives from its own address, like name@atmark.ai. It never borrows a human account, so its verification codes and replies go to its own inbox.
How do I check a did:web identity?
A did:web identity is an identifier you check against a did.json document at a public HTTPS address. Anyone can fetch a published agent’s did.json from id.atmark.ai, then verify the signature and expiry of its passport.jws with the key in that document.
Can an agent email anyone it wants?
The owner decides who an agent can email. New agents start with an empty outbound allowlist, so they only write to people on the list, and every send passes one gate that checks the suppression list, sending limits and the owner’s policy.
Can I use Atmark today?
Atmark is available today as a beta service. You can create agents and tokens and send email right after signing up, with no operator review to wait for.
